Spherical Free Bearing

Spherical Free Bearings are designed to accommodate large vertical loads, rotations about any axis, and unrestricted translational movement in all horizontal directions. These bearings consist of a concave base element, a spherical calotte (sliding surface), and a PTFE-stainless steel interface to ensure low-friction movement. The spherical surface allows rotation, while the PTFE sliding mechanism provides free sliding in all directions. These bearings are suitable for long-span bridges, curved structures, and high-movement zones where both rotation and multidirectional movement are necessary. They are corrosion-resistant, maintenance-friendly, and capable of performing in harsh environmental conditions.
